Job description

Storelift is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to help build and scale Strategic Operations Initiatives. This operations role calls for a combination of creative problem-solving, operational optimisation, data analytics, and project management. You should be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, enjoy solving problems and thrive in a startup environment.


At the Ops team, we grow our Store and Operators (drivers, pickers) base to meet business needs, improving the experience for operators who use our platform, and streamlining processes, so they are able to easily access the job and earn experience.

Among the densely populated cities, there is an over saturation of convenience stores and food delivery services, but more than 50% of the population do not take advantage of these luxuries. Shopping at any hour of the day should not be a luxury which is only reserved for privileged people; this should be accessible worldwide. For these reasons, we decided to disrupt the market and break the status-quo by creating our own Store to combat these problems - Boxy.

Boxy is a convenience store that operates 24/7, with a variety of locations around France. Compact but complete, it's equipped with the latest technology and leveraging state of the art AI to offer customers a frictionless shopping experience. Since Boxy is capable of automatically detecting the items that you pick up while shopping, you can simply just take what you need and walk out. No checkout.


**🧗 Tes missions**


  • Lead initiatives, tools and processes to grow our Operator base and improve their experience.
  • Identify and implement improvements to internal operational processes.
  • Lead operator-related reporting, metrics monitoring, and insights.
  • Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting, analysis, models, findings, and insights on key business challenges to senior management to aid decision making.
  • Facilitate to manage P&L and provide recommendations to forecasting and seasonal fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with Product and Data teams to streamline Operators experience with the Platform.

Job requirements

  • 4-5+ min year of professional work experience.
  • Master Degree required.
  • SQL proficiency preferred.
  • Management consulting, strategy work in a large business, project management, or investment banking (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle problems logically; Data-driven approach to decision making and sound business judgment to determine project performance and financial viability, grounded in analytical thinking.
  • Self-motivated, works independently and possess strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong project management skills who can bring order to ambiguous problems and help align all partners through to execution.
